Hi! My name is Amy Walker. I am a mother of four sons and grandmother of 5 grandchildren. In my free time I like to camp, hike, and Kayak. I enjoy being outdoors and in nature.

I attended East Texas State University where I received a Bachelor of Arts degree. My major was in Elementary Education and my minor was Health and Physical Education. My certifications are in Kindergarten Early Childhood and English as a Second Language.

I love watching my students grow academically and want our class to feel like a class family. I was selected Washington Teacher of the Year, 2014-15. Also, I was chosen MadRock/KATY Country teacher of the month for October 2017.

I am a longtime member of the Texas Classroom Teachers Association. I enjoy teaching and hope I can make learning a fun experience for my students.
