Julie Kerr, Director of Partners in Education

Partners in Education creates and fosters effective community and school partnerships to enhance educational opportunities in support of Sherman ISD students, schools and staff. These partnerships bring expertise, involvement, interaction, and support from the community into our classrooms.

Department Goals:

• Work with campus administration to determine volunteer, mentor and program support needs at each campus.
• Recruit local businesses, organizations and non-profit groups to fulfill the unique needs of our campuses, special programs and district programs.
• Ensure that all SISD Partners are recognized for their contributions throughout the year.
